Mindfulness & Play Therapy

Carving wood is a natural form of play therapy. The repetitive, tactile movement of shaving wood provides a relaxing escape from daily stresses, encouraging a state of true mindfulness as you focus entirely on the transformation of raw timber into a piece of art.

The workshop is led by experienced artisan Martin Pigg, who will guide you safely through every step, from raw block to finished sculpture. No previous woodworking experience is required!
